Meet the Balvihar Kids
Manushi
Hi, my name is Manushi. I love balvihar class because it is a very fun way to
learn about our culture and religion. Before this class started, I used to go to
the adult class and I never knew what was going on. Ever since I started Balvihar, I understand everything and apply it to my daily life. Rupal Didi does a great job at teaching us, I remember everything and can show off my knowledge easily. After an excruciating week of school, BaIvihar eases me. I love Balvihar.

Ishaan
Hi, my name is Ishaan. I started going to Balvihar in 2011. I like Balvihar because we do a lot of fun activities like arts and crafts. I didn't know that Vishnu is another incarnation of Krsna and Radharani and Krsna are forever in love. I learned a lot of verses in Balvihar. My first play was a Krishna play. I was Maharaj Kamsa's guard in that play. Our Balvihar teacher, Rupal, gave us Tulsi Malas. I love mine very much and wear it everywhere. I like this balvihar class.
Tulsi
Hi, my name is Tulsi. I am one of the students in the Balvihar program at the Radha Raman Vedic Temple. I have been coming to balvihar ever since I was in 4th or 5th grade. I have learned a lot more about my culture since I started coming here. We have done many plays and 2 dances since I've come here.. My teacher Rupal has also taught us a lot of verses from the Bhagvad Gita and religious songs that we recited in front of the temple. I love coming here and learning new things about my religion and also hanging out with my friends.
Janki
Hi, my name is Janki. I have been coming to Balvihar at Radha Raman Vedic Temple since Rupal started teaching the class. I didn't know much about my culture before other than the fact that I believed Krishna was the lord and that all the other bhagvans we prayed to were demigods. So far, I have learned a lot about hindu culture and the stories that started everything. I love going to Balvihar class because every week we learn something new and important about our spiritual background. We do a lot of different activities like reading the Krishna book, learning verses from the Bhagvad Gita, doing skits and plays, learning bhajans, and playing games related to our culture. There are many kids in Balvihar and we are all very close and basically best friends. I love Balvihar.
Mahek
Hi, my name is Mahek. I am very fascinated by our culture and religion. I have been in balvihar since Rupal started it. I try to relate our teachings from the Vedic times and translate them into the contemporary times. Through plays and bhajans, we learn about our customs, traditions, and rituals.
Simren
Hi, my name is Simren and I attend Balvihar at the Radha Raman Vedic Temple. For
a very long time, I did not even have a clue about our spiritual and cultural
background. After going to Balvihar Class, I got to learn a lot about Indian
culture, our festivals, holy scriptures, and spiritual history. I like Balvihar
because it's fun and easy way to learn things that our temple teaches.
